Personal Information Collected 

In order to provide you with consistent quality financial services that you desire and to manage our business, it is important that we collect and maintain accurate personal information about you. We obtain this information from (1) applications and other forms you fill out and submit to us, (2) consumer credit bureaus, and/or (3) a retailer or other party who originally provided you with credit if we purchased your account from such retailer or other party. For example, we may obtain the following information from applications and other forms that you have filled out and submitted to us or to a retailer or other party who originally provided you with credit if we purchased your account from such retailer or other party: your name, date of birth, address, social security number, marital status and income. Another example, in evaluating whether to extend you credit, we may have requested consumer credit bureaus to provide us with information regarding the balances of your loans and your payment history with other lenders. 

Sharing of Information 

Our policy is to limit the sharing of your personal information with others. We do not share your personal information with others except (1) as necessary to service and update your account, (2) with consumer credit bureaus as permitted by federal law, such as reporting of account activity, and (3) as otherwise permitted or required by law, such as to protect against fraud or to respond to a subpoena. We do not share your personal information with others for any other purpose.

Protection of Personal Information

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your personal information from unauthorized access or alteration, and we regularly review such safeguards to ensure their effectiveness. For example, we control access or alteration, and we regularly review such safeguards to ensure their effectiveness. For example, we control access to your personal information by restricting access to our employees who need it in order to perform their duties in servicing your account and who are trained in the proper handling of such information. Employees who violate our policies and procedures regarding privacy are subject to disciplinary action.

2. Do we share your personal information with others?

Your personal information is NOT shared with anyone that is not affiliated with us and is not required as part of your owner process. We do share your information with our attorney for title policy reasons and with financial institutions for your mortgage loan and collection process. We might also use your information for marketing research needs. Your information is mainly used by Midwest Family Resorts & Travel LLC, a Summer Bay Company, to either maintain your account or to enrich your vacation experiences with us. We DO NOT sell your name, address or phone number to unaffiliated third parties. Your information is used in the spirit with which it was given, to be used to facilitate your ownership at Midwest Family Resorts & Travel LLC, a Summer Bay Resort.

3. How does Midwest Family Resorts & Travel LLC safeguard your information?

We have physical, electronic and policy procedures in place. Access to your information is confined only to those who require the access to help manage your account with us. Anyone that is found not adhering to our policy would be subject to our disciplinary measures. Any third parties with access to your information are held to the same privacy policy requirements as our on-site staff.


4. Your opt-out rights:

Although we do not, at present, share your information with nonaffiliated third parties, you do have the option to request that we not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties in the future. If you wish to notify us of your preference to opt-out, please feel free to call us at 1-888-788-7658. Please give us thirty days to process this request. You only have to notify us once and we will maintain your request until you notify us of a change in your choice. We will honor your request and not share the information we collect about you, except as permitted by law. For example federal law permits us to share information about our experiences and transactions with you, such as your account history and balances with other members of our affiliated family.

This Privacy Policy is provided to the primary account listed on the contract; however, we will process the request of any joint holders in regards to the opt-out option. If one account member wishes to opt-out, it will apply to the entire account.
